Educational barriers are common among kids who have a burdensome past. Their experiences have often led them into survival mode, forcing the achievement of developmental and educational goals to take a backseat. When a child’s needs are not consistently met in a safe and loving environment, other milestones will be stunted. This is displayed most apparently in a vulnerable child’s learning abilities and academic progress.

We seek to help children and families locally who face these challenges every day by providing academic support and guidance. Whether your child’s learning difficulties are rooted in an identifiable learning disability, wounds of trauma, or simply an inability to catch up, we would like to work with you to understand your child’s unique learning difficulties and how to overcome them. An experienced educator on staff would like to discuss your child’s needs and help you determine a path forward that fits your family and schooling choices.
